his photo shows the control panel of one of five
extruder lines in the GEOSPACE cable facility. This line, a 1 1/2" Davis
Standard is set up for primary insulation of copper conductors from #28AWG and
up. It is fully equipped with the latest in BETA/Lasermike technology offering
auto-coordinate of the extruder screw, both warm and cold measurements of the
conductor, ultrasonic eccentricity monitoring and data logging of key
information for quality control. All of GEOSPACE's extruder lines are equipped
with BETA/Lasermike non-contact measuring equipment. |
