eeding the armor line are 2 top of the line wire re-spool units, with full dancer control, cartridge post formers or wire straighteners for re-spooling various diameter wires, and of course full electronic length control. These re-spoolers provide quality, balanced loaded, and properly tensioned bobbins to the armor line.

his photo shows the control panel of one of five extruder lines in the GEOSPACE cable facility. This line, a 1 1/2" Davis Standard is set up for primary insulation of copper conductors from #28AWG and up. It is fully equipped with the latest in BETA/Lasermike technology offering auto-coordinate of the extruder screw, both warm and cold measurements of the conductor, ultrasonic eccentricity monitoring and data logging of key information for quality control. All of GEOSPACE's extruder lines are equipped with BETA/Lasermike non-contact measuring equipment.

EOSPACE has long been able to quickly produce multi-pair telemetry cable for the Seismic and OBC product line since its inception. Key to this ability is lines like this TEC cabler. With its 1M take-up and high line speed, we are able to produce multi-pair cables (to 144 pairs), quickly and accurately as well as various other sub-components for the cable industry.

eeding the TEC Cabler and the Cabelle cabler, is GEOSPACE's line of single twist and double twist machines for pairing. GEOSPACE has 6 single twist machines and 2 double twist machines that offer infinite lay length control and high-speed production of our pairs.
