| The KCK-4 Marine is the marine version of the single-end
connector for the KCK Series product line. It is ideal for use in marsh and
transitional zone operations. Its water-tight construction includes a
waterblock feature which uses a lengthened internal insert, bonded to both the
insert wafer and the main body, to eliminate the migration of moisture from the
connector face into the connector interior, as well as from the cable end
forward. A stainless steel locking ring assures that the connector remains
coupled and corrosion-free. As with the entire KCK line, the socket can be
replaced in seconds with a mil-spec threaded contact should it fail for any
reason. The KCK-4 Marine's durable construction provides for very low
maintenance and exceptional service life. It is 100% sealed and is suitable
over a wide temperature range and for almost any environmental
condition. |
