Geo Space manufactures leader wire that provides excellent
durability in a variety of configurations. The leader wire consists of tinned
copper clad steel or cadmium bronze conductor with polypropylene insulation.
After twisting 2, 3, or 4 conductors, an all-weather jacket of polyurethane is
applied. During this process, an adhesive filler can be added for extra
protection against possible water intrusion through accidental cuts in the
outer jacket.
Geo Space's ongoing commitment to quality, along with continuous
inspection at critical points in the manufacturing process, assures a leader
wire that will provide long lasting service even in the harshest of
environments. The leader wire is available with metal, molded, or
field-installable polyurethane D-loops installed at customer specified
intervals. It can be shipped on reels or coiled in cardboard
boxes.
