Geo Space's new protective hydrophone outer case is easy to remove and install in the field, offering additional flexibility to field crews. The screw-together case has convenient access ports for polarity testing and is made from the same tough thermoplastic used in all Geo Space cases. Its pointed end facilitates use of the hydrophone for ramming applications. An attachment area is included for a stainless steel harness which is used for retrieval purposes.
